Residential Introduction
What is a residential proxy
- A residential proxy is an IP address that is used by users at home given by their ISP (Internet Service Provider)
- Residential proxies act as a home IP, whereas data centers don't. Meaning that you can bot sites like Nike, Adidas, and Supreme, websites that have lots of antibot measures.
What is the difference between a data center and residential proxy?
- Residential proxies are slower than datacenters but have a very wide range of supported sites.
What is the difference between sticky and rotating?
- Sticky proxies maintain the same IP while refreshing a website (recommended for the majority of sites)
- Rotating proxies change it's IP every time it refreshes the page (recommended for Shopify monitoring)
What are the sites supported?
- Residentials work on all sites, but the major supported ones are Supreme/Footsites/Shopify
